THROWBACK THURSDAY
GANGSTARR — Mass Appeal
R.I.P Keith “GURU” ELAM
Gang Starr “Moment of Truth”
This song has helped me get through so many trying times. GURU’s lyrics are very comforting; in times of doubt, fear, and confusion, it’s good to know that someone you’ve never even met has felt the same way you do. Also, the whole idea of him meeting his ‘Moment of Truth’ is a bit eerie (since today is his death anniversary) but we proudly celebrate the life of one of hip-hop’s greatest emcees.
